Layer Unit

The layer poultry unit with its feed mill and brooding facility is situated 10 kilometers from the heart of Mysore city. The farm covers an area of 20 acres and is split into three separate units with a separate brooding facility to ensure maximum biosecurity. At present, the unit houses 2,80,000 birds with an annual production capacity of 70 million table eggs, and the integrated feed mill currently produces around 800 metric tons of high-grade layer poultry feed every month.

We were the first poultry farm in Karnataka to undertake major automation in the year 2003 and over the years we have adopted a wide variety of technologies in our farm such as gas brooding, automated egg collection system, automatic feeding systems, and automated batching (feed mill).

With the help of our technology partners: Azra Poultry Equipments - Bangalore and Hellmann Poultry GmbH & Co. KG - Germany we have implemented an advanced poultry unit with a multi-decked cage system housed in an open shed, which was a first in the country.

Hatchery & Broiler Breeding Unit

Our broiler breeding operation is situated around 40 kilometers from Mysore city and is spread across an area of 30 acres with operations split across three different locations. The staff and operations of this unit are completely isolated from the rest of our layer and hatchery operations to ensure maximum biosecurity. The unit currently houses 30000 broiler parents with its captive feed mill and cold room facilities.

The hatching eggs produced here are processed at our in-house hatchery for the production of day-old broiler chicks. The hatchery currently can handle 8 million hatching eggs annually.

We aim to make use of good management practices and the latest available technology in the industry to ensure the health of our livestock and produce table eggs, broiler chicks, and other poultry products of the highest quality. Our current goal is to build an ethical and sustainable business that will make a significant contribution toward making available high-quality animal protein at an affordable price.
